Electrolisis process

With this process, we obtain:

- By the implementation of soluble electrodes, a coagultation / floculation of colloidal particles without any addition of chemicals.

- By the implementation of insoluble electrodes, the elimination of a dissolved species (or several) as a solid deposit on the electrode.

This technique is very popular for the treatment of liquid metal-containing solution without resorting to techniques for adsorption on resin / coal. The treatment of liquids containing suspensions without using chemicals, etc...

SIVA has chosen this method to its systems since the floc obtained without mechanical agitation and without the use of external products, is more compact and the volume of sludge is much lower than with a process of chemical coagulation-flocculation. Advantages of this technique are: a bit of maintenance, not very often monitoring by the operator and little energy consumption.
